During our three-day site visit to the Collateral Repair Project in Amman, Jordan, we were lucky enough to attend a session with both the creator and the coordinator of the Super Girls program, funded by FAWCO’s Target Project Hope Beyond Displacement.
What do refugees and expats have in common? They all crave the tastes of their homelands. No matter what life or food is like in their new home countries, there comes a time when all they want is the reassurance and familiarity that can only be found in the comfort foods from their childhoods.

Collateral Repair Project was founded to aid refugees fleeing the violence of the second Gulf War and has been providing assistance to victims of violent conflict and Jordanians living in extreme poverty since 2006.
The FAWCO Target Project Hope Beyond Displacement aims to build better futures through education, vocational and leadership training for refugee women and girls in Amman, Jordan.
